He works for FireEye in San Jose as a Senior Engineer, doing product engineering, sales engineering, and security research. Most recently, his security research was published by The Washington Post, SC Magazine, Network World, Internet News, PC World, The Register, and Cisco Systems. His areas of expertise include botnets, malware, network security, and functional binary analysis.
Alex has spoken at CSI 2009, OSHEAN, the yearly New York State Cyber Security Conference, Yahoo's yearly security week, Hacker Halted, the Department of Defense Phoenix Challenge, CarolinaCon, and many others.
